After years of conducting sportfishing charters, I was persuaded by my clients, my family, and local Ticos to open ConchTico Realty in 2001. You can buy real estate from almost anyone in Costa Rica. What I bring to the table is honesty, knowledge, and the satisfaction that comes from knowing that after the deal is done, everyone involved walks away happy. I want to be able to greet each other as friends at the grocery store. You're a neighbor, not just a client.

I lived the better part of my adult life in Key West, Florida... a small, laid-back seaside town at the tip of the Florida Keys, literally the end of the road. After vacationing in Guanacaste, specifically Nosara, for close to 15 years, I moved here. It was an easy transition. My character had been molded by small town trusting, honest relationships that came naturally to the "Conchs" of Key West. I found Nosara to be very similar. Ticos are easy-going, honest, trustworthy people. It was a bonus that I speak fluent Spanish, having spent the first few years of my life as a child in Cuba.



The two most memorable cultural influences in my life are a result of living with the Key West Conchs and years of living and working with Ticos. I truly feel that I am part of both

-- and that makes me a CONCHTICO !!
